Tourism in Aotearoa was significantly impacted in 2020 due to the ever-lasting effects of Covid-19. NZ Māori tourism approached us to better understand how Māori-owned businesses in the tourism industry were affected.

Our data scientists have been investigating disability data provided by Manawanui and used it in conjunction with data from Stats NZ's IDI (Integrated Data Infrastructure) to conduct this research.

We built several operational algorithms for ACC that automated much of the claim decision making process. Around 90% of claims are now automated, which is great for clients and ACC staff.
